Downtown Tunic Dress

I made this dress the other weekend. I like the shape of it and since the fabric is pretty solid it keeps its shape very well. It's from pattern found in the book Downtown DIY Sewing. I altered the dress a bit to make it look like the dress at http://theuniformproject.com/

I've decided that this year was going the be the handmade holidays year. Every of my loved ones will receive something made from me. I know that sometimes it doesn't seem to be much to receive something made by hands but if you account the effort put into it, it's worth way more than something bought in a store.
