I saw this pouch at Anthropologie. I really want to make one for my kids and for me :).

Good sewing weekend

While the kids are away the mice play. Well, I did anyway. I was able to do a lot of sewing this weekend. Here is a top I designed last year and finally got to put it together. It was interesting to see that some commercial patterns are all thought through but mine wasn't so I had to make adjustments as I was going. It would be good to have a dress form for this because having me to try the garment after every seem was time consuming.

A weekend of sewing

The kids are away this weekend so I am taking avantage of it.
I made Leshae's artist kit.
I finished Leshae's pants (from Carefree clothes for girls)

I am going to do the mug covers right now.

Also, I wanted to add that I went to Globes Fabrics here in Regina and loved my experience with them way more than Fabricland. I found my new favorite shop in the city.
